Good afternoon jellybeans :3 For this week's poll the bubbly and beautiful Park Shin-Hye got two out of four votes :) For a while there I was a little nervous it was going to be a three-way tie between T.O.P, Shin Min-A and Park Shin-Hye. I wonder how that post would have turned out @.@ 

Park Shin-Hye is one of those actresses that snuck up on me. I am a big fan of You Are Beautiful, but I watched that when I was only just beginning to discover how amazing kdrama land was and I didn't bother to learn anything more about her.

I started the first few minutes of Heartstrings a while back, but for whatever reason I never got around to watching anymore of it. I'm not sure how I feel about Park Shin-Hye being paired with Jung Yong-Hwa because of his character in You Are Beautiful XP

Speaking of dramas with Park Shin-Hye, I have five episodes left of Flower Boy Next Door :) I wasn't expecting much from this show, but I found it has surprising depth and lots of lovable characters. The OST is beautiful, and along with Talkin' Bout Love by J-Rabbit, Pitch Black by Park Shin-Hye is my favorite song <3

I am also really looking forward to seeing her and Lee Min-Ho in The Heirs soon! Park Shin-Hye has definitely grown on me this year ^.~ Hope you enjoyed this Feature Friday! Comments are always welcome :)

Hello everyone! This post is long overdue, but I thought I'd write it anyway :P

Goong was a very cutesy and childish drama (in a good way) but there were definitely some moments where things got a little more serious. The relationship between the main couple reminded me a bit of Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin from It Started With A Kiss, for those of you who watch Taiwanese television XD

There came a time in this show towards the end where the crying got a little much, but I'm one of those people who have to finish any drama I start, with a few rare exceptions :P Goong is also 24 episodes long, so I'm not surprised that there were a few episodes that seemed more dull. 

I watched this drama on Viki with timed comments, so I am aware that a lot of fans wanted Chae-Kyung to end up with Yul. I can understand where they are coming from, but I found his character too nice and it was as if he hardly had a spine of his own. The fact that he loved Chae-Kyung so much just made me sad, and in the end I really couldn't hate him for it.

Goong is a 2005 drama and I'm sure a few of you know what that means: Horrible Fashion. What were they thinking back then?! I'm pretty sure I cringed when I saw Chae-Kyung's dress for the interview in episode 21. 

I managed to ignore it most of the time though, because if you let your taste in fashion control what you watch then most likely you'll be missing a lot of good movies and shows ^_~

Overall I liked this show, although it's not one of the best that I've seen. It was cute and fun and I always looked forward to interactions between Chae-Kyung and Shin <3 For Yoon Eun-Hye's (click here for her Feature Friday) first acting role she did amazingly well, despite all the munwha fans who didn't think she would would be able to portray Chae-Kyung well. Joo Ji-Hoon is a great actor as well and he made me feel the emotions of his character as if they were my own.

Happy Friday everyone!! Thanks a ton for voting on the Feature Friday poll :) I guessed it would end up being Lee Min-Ho because everyone in the kdrama-sphere knows who he is :P I definitely have a soft spot for him because he played the main role in my very first kdrama, Boys Over Flowers. Over the past year and a half that I have been watching Korean dramas, Lee Min-Ho has grown on me, especially in his drama City Hunter.  

This is by far my favorite commercial ever!

Did you know he sings? Somehow I didn't until just a little while ago XD He has a nice voice though!

I have only seen Min-Ho in three TV shows so far, Personal Taste, Boys Over Flowers and City Hunter and  although I will always love adorable Goo Joon-Pyo and his curly hair, I really enjoyed Lee Min-Ho's role in City Hunter. 

I think Lee Min-Ho and his charisma will continue to grow on me :)

Hi buttercups! This week's Feature Friday is about the lovely and talented Yoon Eun Hye :) It's about time I did a post on an actress! It's so hard to stop fan-girling over those sexy Korean guys XD Okay, let's get started.

Yoon Eun Hye debuted in 1999 as a singer in the girl band Baby V.O.X and stayed with them until 2005. She was known as the chubby one, which may be surprising to some, given what she looks like now ^_~

She also directed a short film as a graduate student at Chungang University called The Knitting. It was shown in the 2012 Busan International Film Festival Short Film Competition.

Yoon Eun Hye is in eight dramas including Lie To Me, Coffee Prince, Princess Hours (Goong) and My Fair Lady. She is also in the movies Little Black Dress, The Legend of 7 Cutter (Escaping From Charisma) and Emergency 19.

Her acting is definitely unique and she has a way of making the role her own. I recently finished watching her in the drama Goong (Princess Hours) and I realized how young she was then XD As her first drama I was surprised at how well she made her character natural and relate-able. Before the drama came out in 2005, there was a lot of doubt from the fans of the munhwa the drama was based off of. However, Goong soon became popular and Yoon Eun-Hye had made a successful breakthrough into the acting world :)

I am looking forward to watching the rest of her dramas in the future!!

Hey there! This week I am featuring the extremely adorable and sexy Jae-Joong (formerly known as Hero). Yes, I am painfully aware that I have only featured ONE female in the history of these Feature Fridays. However, I find it so much harder to fan-girl over other girls because, let's face it, these posts are just an excuse for me to look at pictures of beautiful Korean guys XD I actually attempted to write about Yoon Eun-Hye last week, but I only got a few sentences into it. Maybe my creative juices just weren't flowing properly that day.

Okay, back on topic :) Kim Jae-Joong is a relatively new obsession of mine, even though I watched his movie Heaven's Postman/Postman to Heaven ages ago. 

Jae-Joong was in the band DBSK (TVXQ) with Changmin, Yunho, Yoochun and Junsu. He is now a part of the band JYJ along with Yoochun and Junsu.

Maybe it's just because I watched the music video Mine, but he kind of reminds me of a vampire XD Does anyone else see this?

Kim Jae-Joong has been in three movies (Codename: Jackal, Postman to Heaven and Dating on Earth) and five Drama series (Dr. Jin, Protect The Boss, Hard To Say I Love You, Vacation and Banjun Drama). I started watching Dating on Earth, but for whatever reason I never got around to finishing it. I am definitely considering re-watching it solely because of Jae-Joong ^_~

This is officially one of my all-time favorite Korean dramas <3 Admittedly, it's not for everyone, but it is the kind of show that really makes you think. If you are someone who likes to skip episodes occasionally or multitask while watching, you may not get all the details needed to follow along. What I am trying to say is that this is a show where every event and person counts ^_~

I'm not the best at defining genres, but according to DramaWiki it is time travel, romance, fantasy, thriller, mystery and melodrama. Seems pretty accurate to me :P I definitely felt myself holding my breath at least once per episode and liking the character's more and more as the show progressed. I heard a lot of people say how annoying the main female character was, but she got less obnoxious as her character developed (and she lost the mushroom-head hair!). The lead guy was spectacular to watch and could really make the watcher feel his emotion, whether it be happy and playful, or downright depressing.

As far as time traveling, they don't use a machine or any weird contraption. The main character discovers an incense with the ability to transport someone exactly 20 years into the past once it is lit. Regretfully, each stick lasts for a mere 30 minutes and there are only nine of them, hence, the title ^_~

I was very impressed with the unpredictability of this show and how it surprised me with every twist. There was a point in the later episodes where it became more ordinary, however, this didn't last for very long ;) The acting was delightful and most of the characters were rounded and three dimensional. There was one character who stood out for me quite a lot in this drama. Choi Jin-Cheol and his facial expressions!

Okay, that wasn't the only person who stood out, but I really couldn't take him seriously when he made that fish face :P Trust me, if you watch it you'll know what I mean.

If you have any more questions about this drama, don't hesitate to write a comment :) I'll definitely answer it. I also suggest watching the first three episodes before you decide whether or not to watch the entire drama. I was really disappointed with the first episode because I had heard so many wonderful things about it. It does start out a little slowly and you may be tempted to quite, but please, don't decide until you have watched three episodes!!

Happy Friday everyone! This week I am going to be featuring the adorable Jang Geun Suk <3 Some spell his name Jang Keun Suk or Jang Keun Seok, so don't get confused if my spelling is a little different than yours ^_~ I have quite a lot of favorites, whether they be actors, singers or both, but Jang Geun Suk is definitely on my list. His smile always seems so friendly and genuine and he comes off as a very happy and fun person :) Even so, he can act as the stuck up moody type if the role calls for it.

Another thing I adore about Sukkie is his uncanny ability to pull off so many diverse looks :P

I could literally spend hours looking at pictures of this guy XD He has such an incredibly wide variety of facial expressions and styles!
