Martial Artist Law Ho Ming immigrated to Canada at age 9 and began studying martial arts at age 15. He excels in Taekwondo, mixed martial art, praying mantis fists and other styles. After graduating with a criminology degree from the Simon Fraser University. Because of his love for martial arts, in 2007 he went to Beijing to participate in Jackie Chan's disciple recruitment and officially joined the business. He said, "That year my Papa had terminal stage cancer. When I received the call to compete in Beijing, I turned it down because my Papa couldn't go. Before his passing Papa learned about this and encouraged me to go out and try, not to miss the opportunity. Finally the next day he passed away and the day after I went to compete in Beijing in hopes of not disappointing his expectation of me."

Although his run in the top 20, through a friend's recommendation Law Ho Ming returned to Hong Kong and participated in action film direction and performance. Earlier he participated in the Dante Lam Chiu Yin film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN). He said, "The most memorable was the fight with (Eddie) Peng Yu-Yen. The director told me to keep chasing him to hit until the director yelled cut. Finally the director praised that everyone fought beautifully." Aside from on screen development, he also hoped to have a chance to be an action director to give him more dimensions in his development.

Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Eddie Peng Yu-Yen worked together on the film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) and appreciated each other. Their relationship was good. Earlier after a funny "kiss scene", they also had chest touching photos. They sang topless in fighter gears on a bench. Ka Fai had his right hand on Peng Yu-Yen's shoulder while his left pressed Peng Yu-Yen's left chest. Peng Yu-Yen lowered his head and laughed in embarrassment. Actually, the crew took the picture when they were joking around. From another angle it reflected their relationships on and off camera.

Peng Yu-Yen in the film had to fight for real. His ear was so swollen that he could not sleep, and the next day he had to fight again. Peng Yu-Yen humorously said, "My ear actually isn't this big. Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Eddie Peng Yu-Yen in the film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) played mixed martial art fighters. Although Ka Fai trained when he made NIGHFALL (DAI JUI BO) and Peng Yu-Yen also has been exercising, yet this time they had to train like real fighters and both complained about how tough it was; Ka Fai even stated that this time was the last time. He would never bulk up again for a movie, not even for HK$100 million. He said, "My body really can't handle it."

Recalling the training and the production process, Cheung Ka Fai and Peng Yu-Yen both had chills. Ka Fai said, "This film was 20,000 times tougher than NIGHTFALL. NIGHTFALL had limited action, this film sold training, fighting and overcoming obstacles. Everyday I had eggs, steamed chicken, no salt, grease, sugar, no carbohydrate. I had no strength at all. After more than 20 years of acting, I was never scared out of my wits and had a chill when the director said, 'Ka Fai take your mark'!"

Peng Yu-Yen agreed and even praised Ka Fai as sharp. In a few short months he got so much bigger. He said, "When I was Brother Ka Fai topless, his chest was ready to explode. It was very exaggerated, and I know it didn't come by easily."

As soon as the film wrapped, they pigged out. Peng Yu-Yen joked that everyday he brushed his teeth with ice cream and rinsed with milk shakes. Ka Fai revealed that when they were shooting in Macau he already succumbed. One night he went to "cheat" at a hot pot casserole shop in the middle of the night, ordered a plain soup base and two bowls of beef. h said, "If in the middle of the night a calf walked by, I would have inhaled it." Has he thought about quitting during the shoot? Ka Fai said, "No, but halfway through the director said that he wanted to make UNBEATABLE 2. I immediately said no and told him to find someone else. After making this movie, I was already invincible. I dare to call myself a silver screen tough guy."

Would Ka Fai make with his accidental kissing partner Peng Yu-Yen a gay film? He shook his head and said, "I can't, I know I can't. I can't be like Wai Jai and Cheung Kwok Wing. If my sexual orientation was like that it would be a little better, otherwise the mental impact would be rather enormous." Peng Yu-Yen on the other hand did not resist and said that being able to work with Best Actor Brother Ka Fai was his honor, he was only afraid that he would not perform well.

As soon as the cameras rolled he immediately gave a peck, which I thought was too much. Then when he came again, he held him back with my arm and asked him what did he want to do? He said nothing, I said you just kissed me!"

The film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) will be released on August 15 in Hong Kong. Two days ago it held a Beijing press conference. Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Crystal Lee with this film won the Shanghai Golden Goblet Best Actor and Best Actress. He and Eddie Peng Yu-yen's perfect physiques also drew attention.

Cheung Ka Fai said, "When I made UNBEATABLE my opponent broke my finger, which still hasn't healed yet. Peng Yu-Yn was also injured many times, his ear was swollen." Some suspected that their muscles were their doubles. They joked, "Which double has such beautiful muscles?"

The film promotion is officially released. In the film, Cheung Ka Fai and Eddie Peng Yu-Yen team up against Andy Tien (On Chi Kit) and other opponents. The hunky trio's fitness physique leaves nothing to the imagination, and the action scenes is intense with hardcore fights.

After his "big guy" physique was unveiled, Ka Fai who has been seen as "god" said, "Others in the ring fight for 5 minutes at most in one breath, when we fight we fight for several days. We have to tough it up even when we are exhausted. When we are free we have to make training and lifting. It absolutely is a physical challenge." Peng Yu-Yen admitted that many close up shots could not use doubles. They had to personally perform being taken down and locked up. He said, "Everyday the instructors punch and kick us, with 6 to 8 hours of training we become what we look like in the film. When my Mama saw the poster, she couldn't recognize me either."

The Taiwan hunk Eddie Peng Yu-Yen and Mainland star Bai Baihe film A WEDDING INVITATION (FUN SAU HUP YEUK) was selected to the Korean Chinese Film Festival closing film. Two nights ago they attended the press conference there. For his first time in Korea, Peng Yu-Yen introduced himself in Korea and made a heart shaped pose with Bai Baihe. He said that the Korean series ENDLESS LOVE was very memorable and thus the Korean star who he would like to work with the most was the series lead actress Song Hye-Kyo.

However a rumor surfaced in Korea about him saying on a program "Korea is a nation great for plastic surgery", which seemed insulting. He said that he was surprised and had no idea. The film company explained that it was purely a misunderstanding. The comment came from the program host and not him.

The film festival's opening film THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) leads Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Zhang Ziyi posed for a magazine while in Korea. Wai Jai praised his on screen wife Song Hye-Kyo as very pretty.

The 16th Shanghai International Film Festival will open on Saturday. The opening ceremony will have almost 400 Chinese and foreign film stars and guests, including director Oliver Stone, Chow Yun Fat, Andy Lau Tak Wa, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun), Lin Chiling, Huang Xiaoming, Jo In-Sung and Kim Ha-Neul. The committee at the opening ceremony will present Chinese Film Outstanding Contribution Award to Tsui Hark and a Film Lifetime Achievement Award to Oliver Stone.

The Shanghai International Film Festival's Golden Goblet Awards have 14 nominated films, 3 of which are Chinese films. They are the Dante Lam Chiu Yin directed UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN), Sherwood Hu Xueha's AMAZING and and Barbara Wong Chun Chun's THE STOLEN YEARS. UNBEATABLE's lead actors Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Eddie Peng Yu-Yen caught attention as they will compete with Huang Xiaoming and Joseph Chang Hau Chuen for Best Actor. In the film Cheung Ka Fai played a lost fighter, earlier his muscle man transformation was already the talk of the town. Peng Yu-Yen during the shoot also had 3 months of hellish training to turn his body into 3% fat condition.
