In addition Dionysus Contemporary Theatre's first play will begin its run in May, an adaptation of HARRY POTTER star Daniel Radcliffe's play EQUUS. Hins Cheung King Hin will play the lead, for now they have not decided whether he will have to be fully nude. Chau Sun joked, "We are considering it. Even if we do it's not nudity for the sake of nudity. If we do we would dance in Macau. The drama troupe is not an exotic dance troupe."

Yesterday DaDa Chan Jing appeared at the airport to fly to New York for its Asian Film Festival. Earlier due to her less than fluent English, DaDa became the laughing stock. On this trip she brought along English books so she could catch up and make up for past embarrassments.

DaDa said that she brought 10 sets of clothing in hopes of being at her best every second. She even joked to take the chance to run into Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun). DaDa said, "I know Chow Kit Lun's THE ROOFTOP will be the closing film, so I very much look forward to running into him there. Then I will definitely take the chance to make more opportunities."

DaDa recently worked with Susan Shaw Yam Yam again on the film TALES FROM THE DARK (MAI LEI YEH) she performed in a Fruit Chan Gor directed segment. Two Hong Kong Film Award Best Supporting Actresses again set off sparks in the film. Sister Yam Yam praised DaDa's outstanding acting that opened her eyes. "She was born to be in our business. Working with such a young out of the oven Best Supporting Actress, I feel very fortunate. After Ah Mui (Anita Mui Yim Fong)'s passing, I haven't seen any actor who could play different characters. Working with her, I felt I got a lot of out of this life. I really like this script, in addition Chan Gor is the director. It absolutely is a Heaven sent chance." In TALES FROM THE DARK, three thugs raped DaDa. She said that this scene was the most memorable. "At the time I was so scared that I cried. Because rape scenes ultimately involved physical contact, and it had to happen in such a small place like a car truck, I was bruised all over."

Director Fruit Chan Gor will adapt the popular internet novel LOST ON A RED MINIBUS TO TAIPO (NA YEH LING SUN, NGOR JOR SEUNG LIU WONG GOK HOI WONG DAI BO DIK HUNG VAN) for the big screen. The film version RED MINIBUS recently has already begun production. 17 actors (the driver and 16 passengers) were crowded into a red minibus for a very cheerful production. Chan Gor originally intended for the mother of three Isabella Leong Lok Si to make a comeback to play the female lead Yuki, but she turned down the invitation; he switched the target to Fiona Sit Hoi Kei, who was unable to make it due to her recording schedule. The chance to play Yuki finally fell to Janice Man Wing Shan. Although she was the "third choice", as long as the character had potential she might have gotten lucky.

They spent their first day of work on the reb minibus. Many were on hand, which made the set very cheerful. Wai Ying Hung and Man Wing Shan shot group photos with the red minibus from different angles; Man Wing Shan even posted a video on Instagram, as each actor introduced his or her character. RED MINIBUS also shot on Water Street in Sai Wan. Aside from the red minibus, an armored car also appeared. Aside from lead actress Man Wing Shan, Wai Ying Hung, Wong Yau Nam, Tsui Tin Yau and Simon Yam Tat Wa were among the actors who were present. They were in full costumes for the big scene as they entered a supermarket in protective clothing. Because the shoot attracted onlookers, someone posted photos online; in particular Golden online users were extremely concerned about RED MINIBUS, as they studied whether they were shooting a "SARS" or radiation scene.

LOST ON A RED MINIBUS TO TAIPO was an internet novel that was both science fiction and suspense. The writer was Pizza. In the story the lead Yau Chi Chi (Wong Yau Nam) on a certain night takes a red minibus from Mongkok to Taipo. After crossing the Lion Rock Tunnel he realizes that all the people and cars has vanished out of the blue, leaving only the minibus and its passengers. Hong Kong has become a ghost town. Then mysterious events take place, and a mysterious person of an unknown origin appears with a gas mask. Some of the passengers die without cause. They have to resolve the mystery to have any hope to return to the real world.

He even personally performed in one of them and had a pale dead make up look that was rather terrifying. He said, "The reason that pushed me into directing this film and writing this story is very simple, it is major complaint. Nowadays in Hong Kong, the distance between the middle class and the basic level is rapidly expanding. I play a lower class worker, so I live an inhuman life. I put on this dead person make up and coordinate with my twins from NIGHT AND FOG (TIN SHUI WAI DIK YEH YU MO) to rub my face from behind."

Lo Hoi Pang yesterday attended a cable program taping. He said that he often had tea with Lau Kar Leung, but since the beginning of the year he has been ailing and thus no longer appeared. His new film in TALES FROM THE DARK (MAI LEI YEH) paired the "mic check" expert Lo Hoi Pang who played mobster "Leung Chun Ying" with the Susan Shaw Yam Yam played Canal Road villain hitting aunt and displayed freedom of speech at the excuse of Chief Executive C.Y. Leung. Director Chan Gor stated that on July 1 he will join the street protest march.

The film TALES FROM THE DARK was an Emperor Entertainment investment that was based on Lillian Lee Bik Wa's NIGHT series novel, with Chan Gor, Lee Chi Nga and Simon Yam Tat Wa directing three stories. In Chan Gor's segment, mob boss "ZY Leung Chun Ying" Lo Hoi Pang had someone in his way, thus he went to Canal Road to ask Shaw Yam Yam to hit a villain. Known for his "mic test", Brother Pang not only exchanged foul language with Shaw Yam Yam but also got the name "Leung Chun Ying" from the director. Due to the homophone with the Chief Executive's name, the film obviously had fun at his expense. Even the classic line that C.Y. Leung used all the time to deny unauthorized building works at his home, "As I remember, no" was added in the dialogue and through Brother Pang's mouth the Chief Executive was also called something foul.

Director Chan Gor yesterday said that adding the name of Leung Chun Ying's name meant that Hong Kong still had the freedom of speech. He said, "Brother Pang's character in the original work was only a mobster and didn't have a name. During the shot it was added at the last minute. 'Leung Chun Ying' had no special meaning, it's purely for fun. During the shoot in November, his news was on fire so I added something from the society in there. At the same time it proved that Hong Kong can still afford to mess around, ultimately it has freedom of speech. I don't have any pressure, so far I haven't received any complaint from the boss. I think they don't mind. Since it is a ghost film, it can't be released in the Mainland. We can do whatever we want and make what we want, it's just for fun. If you can take it then take it, if you can't then whatever!" The film will open on July 11th. Although Chan Gor said that during the shoot he never thought its release would be close to the sensitive date of July 1. He said that he would march on the street that day because it was the day for the people to express their demands. He said, "I support the march because the march expresses demands. Now July 1st has already become the day the people express their demands, it's not as simple as anti whoever. Now Mainlanders would come to Hong Kong too, through June 4, July 1 to make demands against unfairness in the Mainland. If I will be at work I won't be able to help it, if not I will march on the streets."

Original worker Lee Bik Wa yesterday said through the film company, although she did not know in advance that Director Chan Gor gave a name to her character, after finding out she thought it was rather interesting. Lee Bik Wa said, "I feel it's pretty interesting and funny, the name has quite of modern feel. In addition Hong Kong is a place with the freedom of speech and hasn't had a ghost film in a long time. Since it is ignoring the Mainland market, it shouldn't need to self inspect." She revealed that she would respond to July 1 March in her own column.

Janice Man two nights ago attended the Topshop event. She accepted the Fruit Chan Gor film LOST ON A RED MINIBUS TO TAIPO (NA YEH LING SUN, NGOR JOR SEUNG LIU WONG GOK OI WONG DAI BO DIK HUNG VAN). Reportedly the film originally approached Isabella Leong Lok Si but she turned it down. Was Janice Man the second choice? She said, "I have heard about them approaching Leong Lok Si, but soon after the film company approached me, I already agreed. So I don't know if it counts as a second choice." She said that she liked the script very much and looked forward to it.

Famous writer Lee Bik Wa's ghost series film TALES FROM THE DARK 1 (MAI LEI YEH) and TALES FROM THE DARK 2 (KEI WAN YEH) will be released in July and August. Each film will include three supernatural short stories, with Lee Chi Ngai, Lawrence Ah Mon (Lau Kwok Cheung), Fruit Chan Gor, Gordon Chan Ka Seung, Teddy Robin Kwan and Simon Yam Tat Wa as their directors. Yam Tat Wa will direct for the first time and perform. Other actors included Tony Leung Ka Fai as the fortune telling master with the ability to see ghosts, Kelly Chen Wai Lam as a crystal fortune teller, DaDa Chan Jing, Yuen Qiu, Fala Chen and Gordon Lam Ka Tung.

Shine yesterday attended an auction preview. Later they will work on a Fruit Chan Gor New film. Wong Yau Nam said that he has not worked with Chan Gor in ten years and thus he was excited. Tsui Tin Yau happily expressed that Chan Gor tailored a character that was completely different from him, thus he asked him to grow facial hair and shave the sides of his heads.
